Why a tennis shop's family built a paddle brand
Spend enough decades selling rackets and you notice two things at once: pickleball and padel growing faster than any sport we've ever stocked, and both being dressed almost entirely in black, white and grudging accents. AIXO is our group's answer – a brand where the engineering is stated honestly (carbon grades, core thicknesses, approvals, all on the label) and the design department was clearly never told to calm down. Leopard print, neon tags, country-club checks, lucky cats.
The range
Pickleball paddles in three transparent tiers: the Ghost (T700 carbon, ~£40), the USAPA-approved Scorpion (3K, thermoformed, ~£64) and the flagship Reaper (18K, thermoformed, ~£96). Padel rackets from junior frames to 18K carbon – increasingly relevant as tennis players discover padel. Printed overgrips that wrap tennis, pickleball, padel, squash and badminton handles identically – the product that usually converts people first. Plus dampeners for your tennis strings and a clothing line in the same colour-clash language.
