AIXO printed overgrips in bold colour clash designs

One Overgrip, Every Racket: Why Your Paddle and Your Tennis Frame Want the Same Upgrade

You already know how to wrap a handle - the same AIXO overgrips fit pickleball paddles and tennis rackets identically.

In short: Tennis players already know the ritual: grip goes shiny, feel goes vague, you wrap a fresh overgrip and the racket comes back to life. Pickleball paddles work identically – same tape, same technique, same transformation – and because pickleball is a touch sport played with relaxed hands, a fresh grip matters even more than it does on your tennis frame. AIXO's printed overgrips fit both, which is the tidiest kit fact in this whole crossover.

Why grip condition decides the soft game

Dinks, drops and resets are played with loose fingers – the paddle equivalent of feathering a drop shot. A worn, slick grip forces you to squeeze to keep the handle secure, and a squeezing hand transmits nothing. Restore the tack and the cushioning, and the paddle sits safely in a relaxed hold again – which is precisely where touch lives, in both sports.

The re-grip schedule

Same rules of thumb you'd use for a tennis racket: social players every couple of months, weekly players monthly, league regulars and hot-handed players every fortnight. The tell-tales are identical too – shine, slip, flattened padding, or that dry cardboard feel where the tack used to be.

Wrapping a paddle (you already know how)

If you've ever wrapped a tennis handle, there is nothing new here: strip the old tape, start at the butt cap tacky-side down, spiral up with a one-third overlap under light tension, cut and secure the top with the finishing tape. Ninety seconds, no skill gap, no shop required.

One grip, every racket in your bag

This is where AIXO earns its place. Their overgrips are proper performance tape – tacky, absorbent, cushioned – printed with designs nobody else makes: Snakeskin, Smiley Ball, Fluo Pink Checker and dozens more in the full collection. Because overgrip tape is universal, one purchase dresses your pickleball paddle and your tennis racket alike – and the mix 'n' match multipacks mean you can run a different design on each. Sweaty hands? Add AIXO Game Grip Spray.

FAQ

Overgrip or full replacement grip?

Overgrip, in almost every case – it layers over the base grip, costs a fraction and lets you tune handle thickness. Replace the base grip only when it has genuinely perished.

Does the printing affect performance?

No – AIXO prints into the material rather than coating over it, so tack and sweat absorption are unchanged.

Will one overgrip make my grip size feel bigger?

It adds roughly 1/16", same as on a tennis handle – most players never notice, and some deliberately build up with two.
