The Babolat Pure Strike 100 16/20 Gen4 is a control-oriented tennis racket for aggressive counter-strikers who want precision, feel and stability. With a 100 sq in head, a 16/20 string pattern and hybrid Control Frame Technology, it gives strong control, clear feedback and a responsive feel, while NF²-Tech natural flax fibres soften impact and dampen vibration for a better connection to the ball. Supplied unstrung, in Grey/Fluo Strike.
Key Features
- 16/20 string pattern – a tighter pattern for greater control and accuracy, better ball placement in aggressive baseline play and more directional control than open patterns; for players who prioritise precision over raw power.
- Control Frame Technology – combines square-frame stability with elliptical-frame dynamism, adding control without sacrificing power or feel, with a consistent response across the string bed.
- NF²-Tech flax fibres – natural flax fibres in the frame and handle filter unwanted vibrations for a cleaner, softer impact, better feedback and a muted sound on contact.
- Hybrid beam (21-23-21 mm) – balances control, stability and power, improving consistency in fast rallies and stability on off-centre hits.
- 100 sq in head – a larger sweet spot for consistency and forgiveness on off-centre shots while keeping control.
- 305g unstrung – stability and plow-through on impact, with control on powerful strokes for competitive players with developed technique.
- Counter-striker design – for players who take the ball early and control rallies, suited to counter-punching, offensive transitions and fast-paced play from baseline to net.
