The Black Knight Hummingbird TC squash racket is built for advanced players who want speed, control and power in every rally. Its lightweight, head-light frame and Thermal Core technology give a responsive, durable hit that helps you take the ball early and play with more deception.
Key Features
- Thermal Core technology (TC) – uniform curing for durability and a consistently responsive feel on all shots.
- SuperNick ZX Micro string – plenty of bite on the ball for spin and tight shot placement.
- Rad Cushion grip – a textured grip that reduces slipping and hand fatigue over long sessions.
- Head-light balance – quick to manoeuvre for faster reactions and precise placement in fast exchanges.
- Lightweight frame – 120 g AFW / 115 g DW for fast swing speed and the ability to hold the shot.
- 495 cm² head – a forgiving sweet spot on off-centre hits.
- Mid-high RF rigidity (88) – stiffness that blends power with touch.
- String tension 25–32 lbs – tune the string bed towards power or control depending on conditions.
Performance Overview
Designed for fast, attacking squash, the Hummingbird TC pairs a nimble head-light frame with a spacious 495 cm² head and a refined string bed. The TC core gives durability and a lively return on drives and drops, while the SuperNick ZX stringing gives bite for confident length and tight nets. The Rad Cushion grip dampens impact so your hold stays secure through long rallies.
In practice that means quicker reactions, cleaner net play and sharper spin with less fatigue – fewer mis-hits in fast exchanges and more consistent, deceptive play in matches.
Who Is It For?
Advanced and competitive squash players who want a light, fast, manoeuvrable racket that still offers control and power.
