The Hundred JP66 Hunter X is a tournament-grade badminton string offered here as a full 200 m reel. It is built for competitive players who want control and repulsion in the same string bed, with good shock absorption and a clean hitting sound that carries across the court.
Key Features
- 200 m Reel Format — Enough string for many restrings, at a much lower cost per racket than individual sets.
- Control With Power — Balances precise shot placement against strong repulsion, rather than favouring one at the expense of the other.
- Shock Absorption — Softens impact through the frame and arm during long sessions.
- Clean Hitting Sound — Sharp acoustic feedback on the smash.
- Consistent Performance — Designed to suit a range of playing styles rather than one narrow bracket.
- Ice White Colourway — Neutral finish that works with any racket.
Performance Overview
Hunter X is positioned as Hundred's all-round competitive string. Where a pure power string can feel harsh and a pure control string can feel dead, Hunter X aims for the middle: enough repulsion to put shuttles away from the rear court, enough feel to hold a net shot. Shock absorption is a real consideration for players stringing at higher tensions, and this string is built to take some of that sting out.
The 200 m reel makes it a natural fit for club stringing services and coaches supporting a squad, where the same string is going into rackets week after week and per-racket cost matters.
Benefits
- Versatile across styles — Suits attacking and all-court players alike.
- Kinder on the arm — Shock absorption helps during high-volume play.
- Bulk value — Reel format brings the cost per restring well down.
- Reliable feel — Consistent response across the string bed.
