Precision Essential Warm Players Gloves Adult - Black (PRG932)

The Precision Essential Warm Players Gloves are outfield player gloves built for cold-weather sport — the pair that goes on for a January football, rugby, hockey or GAA session and comes off only at full time. An internal fleece lining handles the warmth, while a high-grip silicone palm means you can still pass, catch and handle a ball without taking them off.

Key Features

• Internal fleece lining: Designed for superior warmth in cold-weather training and match play.
• High-grip silicone palm: Grip where it matters, making them usable across any sport where handling the ball counts.
• Elasticated wristband: Holds the glove securely in place through running, tackling and handling.
• Touchscreen index and thumb tips: Smartphone-sensitive fingertips, so coaches and players can use a phone without stripping off a glove.
• Adult size, black: A plain black finish that works alongside any club kit.
• Multi-sport: Precision list these for football, rugby, field hockey and GAA.

Performance Overview

Most players' gloves force a trade-off: warm enough to be worth wearing, or grippy enough to keep on when the ball arrives. The silicone palm is what resolves it here — a textured, tacky surface across the gripping area that keeps ball contact predictable, so a winger does not have to peel a glove off before a lineout or a throw-in.

The fleece lining does the unglamorous work. On a floodlit pitch in February, warm hands are the difference between a player who is engaged in the session and one counting down the minutes, and this is particularly true for age-grade squads. The touchscreen index and thumb tips are a small addition that coaches in particular will appreciate — timing a drill or checking a message without exposing a hand.

• Grip good enough to keep the gloves on when the ball arrives.
• Secure fit that stays put through contact and running.
• Phone-usable without removing a glove.
• One pair covers football, rugby, hockey and GAA.
