TORQ Energy Gel in Rhubarb & Custard flavour is a 45g endurance fuelling gel built on TORQ's 2:1 maltodextrin:fructose formulation, delivering carbohydrate and electrolytes to working muscles quickly. This is the trade box of 15 gels – the sensible way to stock up for a training block, a race season or a club supply cupboard.
Key Features
- 2:1 Maltodextrin:Fructose – TORQ's multiple-transportable carbohydrate blend, designed to move carbohydrate and electrolytes to the muscles quickly.
- 30g of carbohydrate per gel – one 45g tube supplies 30g of carbohydrate, which TORQ counts as 1 TORQ Unit within its Fuelling System.
- Five electrolytes – sodium, chloride, calcium, potassium and magnesium, from a blend of sodium chloride, calcium lactate, potassium chloride and magnesium carbonate.
- Custard flavour, no dairy – TORQ lists the gel as dairy-free and suitable for vegans; the custard reference is flavour only.
- Natural flavouring only – TORQ states no colours and no artificial sweeteners.
- Box of 15 – fifteen 45g single-serve tubes per box.
Performance Overview
TORQ's Fuelling System is built around the TORQ Unit – 30g of carbohydrate. Each Rhubarb & Custard gel is one unit, so it slots straight into a fuelling plan alongside TORQ Energy Drink, Hydration Drink, Bars and Jellies without recalculating anything. The 45g single-serve tube is sized to be carried in a jersey pocket, race belt or running vest.
Benefits
Buying the box of 15 rather than singles gives endurance athletes and clubs a consistent, repeatable fuel source at a lower unit cost. Sticking to one flavour across a block of training also removes the guesswork of finding out mid-session which flavours you get on with – useful when you are dialling in a race-day plan.
