Yonex Astrox 99 Game Strung Badminton Racket

The Yonex Astrox 99 Game brings the attacking DNA of the flagship Astrox 99 Pro into a more accessible, user-friendly badminton racket. It is designed for ambitious club players, juniors stepping into competitive play, and anyone who wants the head-heavy power of the 99 series without the demands of the Pro or Tour versions – easy power, improved control and all-round playability. If you love to attack but still value comfort and forgiveness, this is the one to look at.

Key Features

• Rotational Generator System – the same weight-distribution concept as the Pro, balancing head, shaft and grip for smoother transitions between attack and defence.
• Flex Force Graphite – in the shaft for faster snapback and shuttle acceleration, giving steep smashes and confident clears.
• Core Shell Rubber (CSR) – built into the frame for improved shock absorption, a smoother feel on impact and better shuttle hold in fast rallies.
• Isometric head shape – maximises the sweet spot for forgiveness and consistency on off-centre hits.
• Aero + Box frame – aerodynamics for quick swings with the stability needed for powerful strikes.
• Energy Boost Cap – encourages more shaft flex while keeping the frame stable, for control and explosive hitting.

Performance Overview

Yonex shot data across the Astrox 99 series shows the Game delivers steeper smash angles than older Astrox models, while its medium-flex shaft keeps it easier to handle. CSR gives better shuttle feel at the net and improved touch for delicate kills and drops.

The Game isn't just a cut-down Pro – it is a cleverly balanced attacking racket in its own right. Flex Force power, CSR comfort and the Rotational Generator System let developing players enjoy the iconic Astrox 99 playing style in a more manageable frame: aggressive when you need it, forgiving enough to help you build skills with confidence. If you want steep smashes, easy clears and reliable touch without sacrificing forgiveness, it is a strong progression racket.

Who Is It For?

• Club and county players seeking a high-performance attacking racket at a more accessible price.
• Juniors transitioning from lightweight rackets into their first advanced-spec head-heavy racket.
• All-rounders who want the feel of the 99 Pro in a more forgiving design.
